High Point Community Theatre

United States, High Point

Overview

The High Point Community Theatre (HPCT) offers a dynamic summer camp experience for aspiring young performers. With a focus on acting, singing, and dancing, HPCT’s summer camps provide a welcoming environment for children and teens to explore the world of musical theatre. Campers will participate in auditions, rehearsals, and performances, all while learning the fundamentals of stage performance. HPCT offers multiple camps each summer, including productions like The Lion King KIDS and Beauty & the Beast JR, which are perfect for both beginners and more experienced performers. Campers will receive training in voice, dance, acting, and even costume and prop making. For those interested in the behind-the-scenes aspects of theatre, HPCT also hosts a Technical Theatre Camp, where participants can learn about set design, lighting, sound, and stage management. With a focus on creativity and community, HPCT’s camps are designed to inspire young performers and help them build confidence both on stage and off. Spaces fill up quickly, so early registration is encouraged!
