Overview
In the vibrant heart of Missoula, a thrilling escapade awaits young explorers at the Missoula Outdoor Learning Adventures (MOLA). For 16 adventurous summers, MOLA has been a beacon for kids craving a taste of the great outdoors. Here, the world is their classroom, and every day presents a new lesson in fun!
MOLA’s summer camp is an adventure-packed extravaganza. Whether it's canoeing down peaceful streams, scaling towering rock faces, or hiking through lush trails, the activities are as varied as the vibrant Montana landscapes. But it's about more than just the adrenaline rush. At MOLA, kids develop leadership, self-confidence, and teamwork skills, nurtured by the challenges and triumphs of outdoor life.
From the first warm days of June to the twilight of August, MOLA’s gates are wide open to kindergarten kids, elementary scholars, middle-school mavens, and high-school heroes. With age-appropriate activities for every group, nobody is left on the sidelines. High-schoolers can step up as Leaders-In-Training, while kindergarteners must be six by summer's end to join the fun.
Every week is a fresh journey, with destinations changing as often as a Montana summer sky. Those who can’t get enough adventure can attend several weeks, and hardly visit the same place twice. And for parents longing for a taste of the action, you're always welcome to join the adventure!
MOLA has the permits and the passion to guide your kids on an unforgettable summer journey, with adventures spreading from Lolo National Forest to Bitterroot NF, Flathead NF, Clearwater NF, BLM, Montana FWP, and the City of Missoula. Let the adventure begin at MOLA!
