The N.C. Arboretum Summer Camp offers an immersive outdoor experience for children, blending the beauty of nature with creative arts and crafts activities. Located within the Bent Creek Experimental Forest near Asheville, NC, the Arboretum is set in one of the most stunning natural environments in the Southern Appalachian Mountains. Campers will enjoy exploring forested coves, meandering creeks, and diverse plant life while engaging in hands-on art projects inspired by nature. Each day at camp is packed with outdoor adventures, including hiking, journaling, painting, and crafting with natural materials found around the 434-acre campus. Children will have the opportunity to learn about the environment while expressing their creativity through various art activities.
