Career Exploration: Gain insight into a variety of career paths within the agricultural sciences through workshops, labs, and field trips. Live on Campus: Experience college life by staying in dorms at NC State University while building friendships with like-minded peers. Diversity Workshops: Participate in team-building activities that emphasize collaboration and inclusion. Program Highlights Over the course of two weeks, students will: Learn research techniques in plant and animal sciences. Work alongside university faculty and U.S. Government professionals. Explore topics such as entomology (insect science), botany (plant science), agronomy (soil and crop science), and veterinary medicine. Participate in character-building activities that foster leadership skills. This program is particularly beneficial for students who have completed a freshman-level science course. Who Should Apply?
