A Comprehensive Enrichment Experience The NC-MSEN Pre-College Program offers a variety of learning opportunities, including the Summer Scholars Program, which provides intensive mathematics and science enrichment. This program is specifically designed to prepare students for their upcoming mathematics classes and includes courses in robotics for middle school students, and additional courses in communications and career awareness for high school students. Interactive Learning and Engagement Students enrolled in the program benefit from a range of interactive activities: Guest Lectures: Hear from experts in STEM fields who inspire and educate. Field Trips: Explore real-world applications of STEM concepts. MSEN Day: Participate in academic competitions with peers from different schools, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and healthy competition. Eligibility and Enrollment The program is open to students residing in Bertie, Durham, Franklin, Johnston, Nash, Northampton, Orange, Wake, Warren Counties, and Weldon City. It admits a limited number of underserved students on a first-come-first-serve basis. Students currently in the 12th grade are not eligible for the Summer Scholars Program.
