Roam Summer Course

Roam Summer Course

United States, Boise

Overview

Venture into the great outdoors with the Roam Summer Course, where the sky is your ceiling and the mountains are your playground. This isn't just a summer camp, but a field-guide to life, where your little adventurers will learn to thrive, not just survive, under the star-studded Idaho night sky. The focus? A smorgasbord of adventure and learning, from surfing to science, from hiking to farming, with a side of canoeing, kayaking and rock-climbing, not to forget the dash of traditional camp activities. The Roam Summer Course is a sandbox of experiences, where every grain of sand is a lesson in leadership or environmental awareness. Imagine your child cooking a meal on an open fire, pitching a storm-proof shelter, or navigating using nothing but a map - skills that don't just build confidence, but independence. As they journey through the river canyons and over the mountains of Idaho, not only do they explore the wilderness, but also delve into self-discovery, forging friendships that last beyond the summer. The course isn’t all about practical skills, however. It also offers a reflective journey into the concept of leadership. Through discussions, practice, and feedback, your child will return not just with a backpack full of memories, but also a toolkit of leadership techniques. So, if you're keen on a summer experience that's more than just marshmallows on an open fire, the Roam Summer Course might just be the ticket. After all, it's not just about the destination, but the journey and the skills they pick up along the way.
