The program includes hands-on tasks such as designing robotic rovers, building and launching model rockets equipped with student-built sensors, and constructing Arduino-controlled mini weather stations. Hands-On Learning and Real-World Applications Participants will engage in numerous practical activities: Robotic Rover Design: Learn soldering techniques and program rovers to perform specific maneuvers. Rocketry Projects: Construct model rockets and launch them at a nearby facility. Weather Station Construction: Build weather stations and launch them on tethered weather balloons to collect atmospheric data. Data Analytics: Conduct data analysis and present findings to NASA and NOAA scientists. Registration: A $500 deposit is required upon registration, with the remaining balance due by May 1, 2024. Enrollment is open until spaces are filled.
