Overview
The UNC Asheville Pre-College Programs offer rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors the opportunity to immerse themselves in week-long academic and outdoor experiences. These programs combine hands-on learning, college-level study, and outdoor adventures in the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains. With a wide range of topics such as STEM, arts, film, and ecology, students can explore their passions while gaining insight into university life and career options.

River Ecology & Adventure (June 23–28):
Study Southern Appalachian stream ecology through fieldwork.

Film Scoring & Sound Design (June 16–21):

Daily Schedule
A typical day includes:

Program Details
Dates: June 16–21 or June 23–28, 2024
Eligibility: Open to rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors (ages 14–18).
Tuition: Starting at $1,350 (includes lodging, meals, course materials, activities, and excursions). A $500 deposit is required upon registration with the remaining balance due by May 1, 2024.
