Overview
UNCG School of Education offers a summer camp experience that combines fun, learning, and personal growth. With nearly a century of history in teacher preparation, the School of Education is dedicated to fostering curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in children through its engaging programs.
One standout offering is the All-Arts, Sciences & Technology Camp, designed for children aged 7–15. This weeklong camp provides hands-on instruction in arts, sciences, and technology while incorporating recreation and social activities. Campers attend morning and afternoon classes tailored to their interests, with options ranging from STEM topics to creative arts. Small class sizes encourage problem-solving and critical thinking while ensuring personalized attention.
For older children and teens, UNCG also offers specialized programs like the Summer Music Camp, the largest university music camp in America, and the Esports & Gaming Summer Camp, which immerses participants aged 9–14 in gaming strategy, design, and teamwork within a state-of-the-art esports facility. These camps provide unique opportunities for skill-building and exploration.
In addition to academic enrichment, campers experience life on a college campus, including dorm living for residential programs. This exposure fosters independence and gives participants a glimpse into higher education. The camp environment emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and community engagement—values deeply rooted in UNCG's mission to inspire lifelong learning.
Whether your child is interested in science experiments, artistic expression, or gaming strategy, UNCG’s summer camps provide a vibrant space for exploration and growth. With a focus on both academic and personal development, these camps are an excellent way to make summer both educational and unforgettable!
