Located near the ski area, the ski lifts and just a six-minute walk from the center of Ellmau, Der Bär Hotel offers excellent conditions for the whole family. In good weather conditions, skiing to the elevators and back to the hotel is possible. "Der Bär Hotel" is a hotel complex consisting of several cozy and well decorated buildings which offers a wide range of rooms, including those for families. In 2011-2012 the rooms in the main building "Bar" and its annex "Tyrol" have been renovated.

The first thing the guests notice on arrival is a sincerely warm and hospitable welcome. On Mondays, you are welcomed with a welcome drink to mark the start of your vacation. Meals at the hotel are always high-quality and delicious. The food concept offered by the hotel allows you to have a snack almost all day long. There is an additional children's menu and drinks for the little ones, and during the week there are a lot of surprises in the form of various themed dinners.

Excellent facilities for children are created here. Own mini-club on the territory of the complex invites children aged 3-4 years old, where they can have fun with children of the same age in a well-equipped room. But older children can socialize and rest in a separate play room. If necessary, parents can order baby-sitting service.

Well-equipped SPA-area with a small pool, sauna, steam room, relaxation room and fitness room will allow to diversify family leisure in wintertime, and in summer you can swim in the new outdoor pool and sunbathe on the terrace near the water. In the warm season children will enjoy a rich entertainment program, which includes horseback riding, hiking, picnics, mini-Olympics and many other exciting and interesting things.
