The 4-star Hotel Tauernhof boasts an excellent location in the center of Kaprun, but at the same time in a quiet and comfortable place. Nearby there are training slopes for beginners. The buses, which stop close to the hotel, will take you to any of the ski areas of the resort. Tauernhof is especially convenient for families with children who plan to visit the children's ski school.
A special learning area with children's lifts and various colorful items, where the Kaprun G Schermer Ski Scool holds classes for little skiers, is right behind the hotel!
The modern spa center for hotel guests, opened in 2012, is especially worth mentioning. A small-sized swimming pool, family sauna, as well as saunas and steam rooms for adults only will help to maximize recovery after a busy day of skiing. The hotel has a game room, but it is more oriented on school-aged children, offering such kinds of entertainment as darts, table soccer, billiards, game console, and computer with free Wi-Fi. In the fitness room, you can play a game of table tennis.
Meals are excellent, with a good selection of foods on the buffet for breakfast and with several menu options to choose from in the evening, including vegetarian dishes.
