Overview
The Unterwirt is a four-star hotel located in the centre of the Reit im Winkl resort. Its architecture and décor harmoniously combine elements of the past with the present. Families with children will enjoy the spacious rooms (two-room suites are available for larger groups), the wonderful spa with indoor pool, and the heated outdoor pool that can be used all year round.
The only thing to bear in mind is that the hotel is next to a church and the morning bells can be a little disruptive (if you are travelling with children, we recommend contacting the owners in advance and requesting rooms overlooking a quieter area).
The food is of good quality, in keeping with the category of the hotel, and breakfast and dinner can be ordered on request. The restaurant staff are always friendly. If your child requires a special meal or diet, they are always accommodating. There is also a special children's menu in the restaurant (extra charge).
The Hotel Unterwirt also has a games room on the ground floor with games, toys and a console for all children to relax and play on after a busy day. During the summer there is a special entertainment programme for younger guests, information is available at reception. Restaurants and shops are close to the hotel.
