Fun4Kids

Austria, Vienna

Every parent knows that there is nothing better for children's leisure and development than an enclosed play area or playground. You can leave your child there for hours while you relax on a nearby bench, have a cup of coffee, flick through a magazine or chat with a friend. Once in a playground like this, a child completely forgets that mum and dad are there. There's so much to explore and try out that it's not up to the adults.

Or maybe the parents themselves would like to bounce on a trampoline, play a few games of air hockey or even go down a slide.

As soon as you cross the threshold of the playground, you enter a real children's fairytale. The whole area of Fun4Kids is full of bright colours and the symbol of the playground, the mischievous crocodile dressed as a superhero, is everywhere. Visitors to Fun4Kids will find the following recreational and entertainment areas:

  • Slides.
  • Trampolines.
  • Inflatable hill.
  • Go-kart track.
  • Playground for toddlers.
  • Climbing tower. Climbing tower only for children over 14 years old. Younger children are not allowed on this activity for safety reasons.
  • An arcade area (air hockey, basketball and more).

Fun4Kids also has several separate rooms for children's birthday parties. The rooms are based on different cartoons theme: Cars, Aladdin, Frozen and more. There is a pink room where you can have a princess party.

Every Friday and Saturday evening, after the games area closes (from 20.00), Fun4Kids organises laser tag. It is necessary to book the visit in advance.

An interesting and unusual zone is the "Children's Police", where guests of the playground can get a personal police card. This zone is for children who can read and write. To get a card, you have to answer a few age-appropriate questions and bring a passport-size photo. Children's police officers will be on hand to inform children about potential life-threatening hazards and safe road behaviour.

"The Children's Police" have been specially created to give children the necessary knowledge about the rules of the road, how to behave in difficult situations, why they should not talk to strangers and so on. The officers also teach children how to respect their elders and how to help the elderly.
