BIM & BOOM Indoor Play Centre

BIM & BOOM Indoor Play Centre

Germany, Berlin

Berlin is a huge and incredibly beautiful city. Its numerous attractions, rich history and interesting architecture attract millions of tourists. But little kids are unlikely to be interested in walking around the historical sites, seeing the Brandenburg Gate or visiting the Museum Island. The BIM & BOOM indoor play centre is something they're sure to enjoy.

The indoor play centre has lots of fun games and attractions for children aged 0-12. Trampolines, slides, net mazes, balloon pools, air hockey — there is something for everyone. While the grown-ups relax, the little ones can burn off energy and have fun with their peers. BIM & BOOM is a great place for families in Berlin and a great destination for tourists with young children.

Areas and attractions

The BIM & BOOM indoor entertainment centre covers 3,300 m2, and there are more than a dozen separate play areas in this impressive area.

  1. A playroom for the little ones. BIM & BOOM is visited by babies who haven't even celebrated their first birthday yet. The play centre has a children's area with games and attractions specially designed for children up to 3 years old. For example, in the playroom there are small plastic slides, a pool with colourful balls (and it is possible to fall into the sea of balls just by sliding down), soft climbing steps, mini trampolines and much more. For safety, the children's play area is zoned with nets. Balls, slides and other play equipment are regularly disinfected and treated with environmentally friendly detergents.
  2. Artillery system. Those who are not afraid of being hit by multicoloured balls will enjoy this fun zone. Taking cover from these 'projectiles' is great fun. You can also freely throw balls at others in this area, and children love such pranks. Parents need not worry about their children getting hurt as the balls are soft and will not hurt them on impact.
  3. Play football. Little athletes can try their hand at being Messi, Ronaldo or Maradonna and score a few goals against the opposition. The football pitch at BIM & BOOM is small, but suitable for children's ball games. The pitch is surrounded by a chain-link fence for the safety of the surrounding area. Visitors playing nearby are not afraid of the ball.
  4. Maze. A multi-level net maze with slides and multiple passages is an excellent way to train dexterity and wits. It's fun to play catch-up in it! It's not easy to "run down" your opponent, as he keeps looping back and forth between the different directions of the maze.
  5. A small maze. There is also another maze that takes up a small area and is designed for small children.
  6. Trampolines. One of the most popular attractions for children of all ages is the trampoline. Who doesn't love that indescribable feeling of flight when you bounce off the springy surface and soar like a bird to the ceiling? At BIM & BOOM there are several large trampolines linked together and surrounded by nets.
  7. Bouncy castle. A great alternative to the trampoline.
  8. Theatre. Kids can play theatre, put on a real show or a performance for their parents and hone their acting and directing skills in this play area. There is a stage with colourful decorations and a dance floor with a glittering disco ball above.
  9. Obstacle course. A spinning disc, a high trampoline slide and other soft and safe obstacles will keep the player from reaching the coveted finish line. Who wouldn't want to challenge themselves and try to complete the BIM & BOOM obstacle course in record time?
  10. Speed Run. The equivalent of an obstacle course, but on a smaller scale.

There is also a separate room where you can celebrate children's birthdays, have a party or any other celebration. The spacious lounge is decorated with pictures of exotic animals, creating a real jungle atmosphere.

BIM & BOOM has a food court with video monitors. Parents can watch their children play while having a snack or a cup of coffee. BIM & BOOM's management pays great attention to the safety of its visitors, so all areas of the centre are designed so that children are always in sight.

BIM & BOOM attractions and play equipment are only available to children under the age of 12. Adults and children over the age of 13 are not allowed to use the play equipment, trampolines, toy vehicles or the maze, except to help the younger children.

Just 3 km away is the Tierpark Berlin Friedrichsfelde, a visit to which is sure to excite children.

Services

Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas of the indoor park. While the kids relax, parents can chat on social media, watch YouTube or even work remotely.

Parents of toddlers under the age of 8 must stay close to them in the play area. Children over the age of 8 can be left unsupervised in the play area, but parents, guardians or supervisors must sign a permission slip. There is a form on the BIM & BOOM website that you can download and print.

It is possible to have a children's party at the play centre. This is included in the price of the party package:

  • admission fee with guest reception;
  • a nicely decorated table;
  • small gifts for all attending.

The table is booked for four hours (extensions and earlier performances are not possible). The maximum number of guests is 12 (children and adults). The Play Centre has a wide range of food and drink for children's parties. A deposit is required for all dishes.

You can bring your own cake for an extra charge of €10. Free invitation cards for guests can also be printed from the website. Children will be entertained by a team of animators for an additional fee. Unfortunately, due to fire safety regulations, the use of candles is not permitted and piñatas are not allowed in the centre. To book a children's party, visit the centre's website.

BIM & BOOM offers various discounts and promotions. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, for example, BAföG students and Hartz IV families get a discount. On Tuesdays and Fridays, children with category B disabilities and their companions receive a 50% discount. Groups of six or more people also pay 10% less on these days.

The admission price includes all rides and access to all play areas. Only air hockey, simulators, basketball and some children's attractions are subject to a surcharge.

Visitor Tips

  • Don't forget to bring socks with you, as shoes are not allowed in the play centre and you can't go barefoot. If you forget your socks, don't worry, you can buy them at the ticket office.
  • If you are planning to visit the play centre in the summer, make sure you check the opening times beforehand, as BIM & BOOM may close earlier than planned on particularly hot days.
  • It is forbidden to bring your own food and drink. The only exception is baby food.
  • Snacks are available in the food court, but you should not take food from the hall into the play area.
  • If you have booked a party at the play centre and your child is ill, the event must be cancelled at least 48 hours before the scheduled date. Otherwise the deposit will not be refunded.
  • If you are coming to BIM & BOOM by car, you can leave it in the local free car park.
  • Pets are best left at home as they are not allowed in the play area.
