Overview
The Hollywood Media Hotel is located on the Kurfürstendamm, better known as the Kudamm, in the centre of Berlin, not far from the Berlin Zoo and Savigny Square. The location is so convenient that it's a must for tourists with children.
Young fans of Mask and Uncle Scrooge will love the hotel from the moment they arrive. Adults will appreciate the possibility of converting adjoining rooms of different categories into large family suites for 4-5 people. For travellers with babies, staff will provide a cot. Crucially, all family rooms have socket protection. Babysitting services are available.
The Hollywood Media Hotel has three restaurants, but the leader in terms of children's loyalty is the Italian Capone. Not only are there small portions of food and child-sized pizzas, but there are also crayons and colouring books for young visitors. High chairs are available for the little ones. The hotel itself offers breakfast buffets with fruit salads, cereals, yoghurts and authentic German pastries.
The Hollywood Media Hotel does not have a separate children's playroom or mini club. But there are so many entertainment options on Ku'damm itself that the hotel's lack of one is not particularly noticeable. The nearest playground to keep your children entertained is just a few steps away in the direction of Savignyplatz.
The Berlin Zoo is just a 20-minute walk away, and other attractions are within a 15-20 minute walk. And to round off your holiday, you can go shopping on the Kudamm, which offers the famous KaDeWe and other shopping malls, as well as selected boutiques. Directions
The Hollywood Media Hotel is located on the famous Kurfürstendamm shopping street in Berlin's Charlottenburg district. It is 20 km from Berlin Brandenburg Airport.
From the airport, take the S-Bahn (S9 line) to Ostkreuz station, then change to the S7 line towards Postdam and go to Savignyplatz station. When you get off on Bleibtreustraße, follow the signs to Kurfürstendamm, where the hotel is immediately visible on the right-hand side.
The easiest way to get there from the main railway station is to take the underground to Savignyplatz (line S5 Westkreuz, S7 Potsdam, S75 or S9 Spandau). Continue along Bleibtreustraße until you reach Kurfürstendamm.

Junior Suites (19 rooms) are 36-43 sqm and have separate living and sleeping areas. The suite has an extra-large double bed or twin beds and a study area. Food and Drink
A buffet breakfast is included in the room rate and is served from 6.30am in the BEL AIR restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel. The restaurant, like the rest of the hotel, is decorated in a Hollywood style and offers a wide variety of food. There is a selection of fruit and fruit salads, hot and cold dishes, various cereals, yoghurts, pastries and juices. The only drawback is the large number of people at breakfast for group arrivals, which is not uncommon.
There are three partner restaurants on site, one of which, the Italian Capone, caters for younger guests. As well as half-portions of any meal and kids' portions of pizza and spaghetti, there are highchairs for the little ones. And older children are provided with crayons and colouring books to keep them entertained while they wait for their pasta. The same restaurant also provides room service.
As well as Capone, guests can sample the cuisine of the Egyptian restaurant Marooush and the Callas café-bar. The bar has an outdoor terrace overlooking the Kudamm.
If you don't find 'your' dish in any of the restaurants listed, don't be disappointed. It's impossible to go hungry on Ku'damm, as it's not just a street of famous boutiques, but also a variety of eateries, from national and theme restaurants to classic German pubs and chain restaurants. As a last resort, the food section of the supermarket is just outside your door.

Not the first time, hopefully not the last
This is the second time we have stayed here. The hotel is lovely; we had minimal problems during both trips, but only minor ones. In general, very comfortable and beautiful rooms, just the perfect location for walking around the city. Service - ...
