The world-famous Lego builder needs no introduction, having long since become a modern-day legend. Anyone who has ever tried to assemble these bright, ergonomically shaped bricks has been infected with the incurable disease called 'Lego'. Not only children in different countries, but also their parents simply love to build structures, flying vehicles and space stations from the details of the famous constructor.
For children and adults who have grown up with the world-famous Lego, Legoland Discovery Centre is located in the heart of Berlin and close to all the major attractions. This huge amusement park is full of Danish bricks big and small, rides and all kinds of other attractions. For every little one who comes here, Legoland is one big fairytale land where they are sure to find something to keep them occupied.
The highlight of the children's theme park is the German capital in miniature.
Built by Legoland staff from two million Lego bricks, the mini-Berlin is so masterful and talented that even adult visitors marvel at the skill of the local craftsmen. A smaller replica of Berlin occupies just fifty square metres, but you can still see some of the capital's most famous landmarks.
The Legoland Discovery Centre offers visitors, young and old, plenty to see and learn during a visit to the park. For example, how the famous colourful bricks are made from melted plastic in the factory, how real ninjas are trained in a special military camp, or how you can play pirate for a whole day with a radio-controlled ship.
There are two other fascinating museums within a 10-minute walk of the center, the Museum for Communication and Madame Tussauds
