In the heart of the resort, on Marienplatz (next to McDonald's) is one of Germany's most renowned ski schools, Skischule AlpenSport Total. The school is a member of the German Ski Instructors Association and guarantees fun and rewarding lessons. English, German and other languages are spoken at the school. For your convenience, there is a free shuttle service from the school to the lifts and back to Garmisch.
In addition to the standard ski course, AlpenSport Total offers a range of additional services such as: private lessons, special courses for the whole family, guided night skiing and snowboarding, Bavarian curling (Eisstockschiessen), snowshoeing, tobogganing, equipment hire and service, ski equipment sales, information service and advice (organising entertainment and excursions in Garmisch).
Museum Aschenbrenner is located just 600 meters from the school. Take the whole family there.
In winter, the school is open from morning to evening, seven days a week, so you can always get information or advice from an instructor.
