Klenzepark has a rich history dating back to the late 18th century when it served as part of the Ingolstadt State Fortress. In 1992, the park hosted the Landesgartenschau (State Garden Show), which transformed it into the lush green space it is today. The park's architectural highlights include the Neues Schloss (New Castle), which houses the primary collection of the Bavarian Army Museum, and the well-preserved sections of the former fortifications, including the ditch and bastions.

Just 500 meters away is the Bavarian Army Museum - New Castle, a visit to which will also bring many positive emotions.
