If you decide to take your child to the ski resort of Reit im Winkl in Germany, be sure to visit the Marquartstein amusement park, which has been open since 1971. The philosophy behind the park is to create the best possible conditions for children and adults to play together.
The owners of Marquartstein hope to bring the already close-knit families that visit even closer together. What can you and your children expect in this fabulous park? First and foremost, there are around 30 exciting attractions, including a children's train, a steep water slide, a roller coaster in the summer, and much more to keep you entertained.
Here you will find
The Forest Witches' Playground. Here, under the canopy of tall, sprawling trees on the edge of the forest, you'll find a real witch's school! Young witches will learn the craft of witchcraft in an interesting and playful way, and will be able to answer many of their own questions.
The children's train is exclusively for Marquartstein's youngest guests. The train takes children all over the park.
The local mini-zoo welcomes young children with their favourite animals, which they can not only touch and examine from all sides, but also pet. Sheep, goats and their young kittens are waiting for affection and treats that will be licked right off your hands!
The construction play area invites young builders, engineers and architects into its territory. Here children can learn the basics of these important and necessary professions.
The toboggan run is only open in the summer. It is a very popular attraction and there are always lots of children and their cheerful parents. It's important to note that the ride down the hill is included in the price of admission, so you can go until you're dizzy.
A water playground awaits the most adventurous visitors to the park who are not afraid of getting splashed. This attraction is particularly popular in the summer heat. A system of hand pumps ensures a constant supply of water, while a water wheel sprays water in all directions.
The crazy gondola is not for the faint-hearted! The boat, which rises and swings to a considerable height, can accommodate 4-6 people. Visitors can adjust the height of the gondola. Please note: Children under the age of 6 are not allowed on the ride.
If you still have some energy left, we recommend another similar amusement park, Ruhpolding Freizeitpark, located 30 km from Marquartstein Park.
