Aqualand waterparks operate in several family-friendly resorts in Spain. This includes a water park in Mallorca. It is located near Palma, near the town of El Arenal. It is the largest water amusement park on the island. There are 18 attractions, including excellent children's playgrounds and dizzying slides.
Aqualand in Arenal is perhaps an extreme paradise with many high and challenging slopes. All these slides are so winding that you could get lost if the water doesn't steer you in the right direction. Their names make your blood run cold: King Cobra, Anaconda, Devil's Tail... It is frightening to see a cobra sliding with its hood blowing up and exposing its poisonous teeth.
The Black Hole chute is equally twisty. In contrast, the Harakiri, Tornado, Kamikaze, Crazy Race, and Banzay are all slides built especially for miniature rafting.
The smallest of the slides, Multipistas, is suitable for family fun, especially as this is where you can see who can go the fastest. But children are unlikely to rush to the grown-ups' slides until they have explored all the children's pools at Aqualand el Arenal. One of them, however, is occupied by a giant sea lizard, while the other one hippos swim. But it's only fun for the kids.
The play pools have a full range of water activities, so kids and older kids alike have a great time. The most mysterious playground is Polynesia, separated from the rest of the park by a wall and a strip of trees.
Other attractions at Aqualand Mallorca are suitable for children and parents to enjoy together. These include the Congo River and the artificial wave pool. In Aqualand, several cafés serve fast food, ice cream and drinks. Because Aqualand Mallorca has many extreme slides, it is always full of youngsters.
If you want a place to relax with young children in Mallorca, the Magaluf Western Water Park water park or the HidroPark in Alcudia would suit you better.
