Overview
Breakthrough Basketball Skill Development Camp offers high-energy, drill-based programs designed to help young athletes improve their basketball skills and build character both on and off the court. With camps held in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and Montana, these multi-day sessions cater to boys and girls of various age groups and skill levels.
The camp focuses on essential basketball fundamentals such as ball handling, shooting, passing, defense, rebounding, and footwork. Players also engage in controlled scrimmages that emphasize decision-making and game IQ. Beyond physical skills, the camp instills confidence, discipline, and teamwork in a supportive environment where athletes are encouraged to push their limits and learn from their mistakes.
In Alaska, two camp sessions are available in Anchorage: the Ball Handling and Scoring Skills Camp (June 3-5) and the Essential Skills Camp (June 6-8). Both are open to players in grades 3 through 8, with a limited capacity to ensure personalized instruction. Similar programs are offered across Washington, Oregon, and Montana for a broader reach.
Breakthrough Basketball prides itself on its experienced coaching staff, who maintain an average satisfaction rating of 9.3 out of 10.
