Ensconced in the scenic beauty of Nantucket, Building Up Sports Academy Inc. offers an incredible fusion of baseball, fishing, and softball in their one-week summer sports camps. The Academy’s dedicated team aims to keep your little athletes moving, entertained, and learning all at the same time.
In the Fishing Camp, your children will be introduced to the art of knot-tying, baiting a hook, water safety, and identifying the diverse aquatic life in the saltwater and freshwater bodies of Nantucket. What's more, the Academy provides all necessary fishing equipment, including rods and bait, and each camper even receives their own rod and reel to keep. The week concludes with an exciting fishing tournament and awards ceremony where each participant receives a medal and a personalized t-shirt.
For the budding baseball players, the Baseball Camp is a dream come true. Catering to both, the novices and experienced players, the camp aims to challenge and inspire young athletes. They will learn essential skills like base-running, throwing, receiving, infield and outfield skills, and hitting techniques. The week culminates with the much-anticipated annual "World Series" game, followed by an awards ceremony where everyone is a winner and receives a medal and t-shirt.
