Accommodation and Meals

Accommodation

Camp Bob Waldorf offers comfortable cabin accommodations located in a secure and natural environment within the Verdugo Mountains. Each cabin houses a small group of campers under the supervision of trained counselors who stay with them throughout the session. Cabins are equipped with bunk beds, personal storage, and shared restroom facilities. The layout fosters teamwork, friendship, and a sense of belonging. Living together teaches campers respect, responsibility, and cooperation.

Meals

Campers enjoy three nutritious meals daily, served in a communal dining hall. The camp’s food service provides balanced options with fresh ingredients to support active lifestyles. Meals are designed to be healthy and kid-friendly, accommodating various dietary needs and restrictions. Mealtimes are also moments of community bonding, where campers and staff eat together and share highlights of the day. Snacks are available to keep campers energized between activities.

Medicine

A dedicated health center staffed by trained medical professionals is available on-site at all times. The health team handles routine care, administers medications, and manages any medical concerns during camp sessions. All medications are stored securely and administered under supervision according to parent and physician instructions. Parents provide medical forms before arrival to ensure staff are aware of individual needs. The camp prioritizes proactive care and clear communication for each camper’s well-being.

Security

The camp’s gated property and trained staff ensure a secure environment for all participants. Access to the grounds is limited to authorized personnel, and staff undergo thorough background checks and safety training. Supervision is maintained throughout the day, including during transitions and rest periods. Emergency preparedness protocols cover medical, weather, and natural events. Safety is integrated into every aspect of camp life — from activities to transportation — to give parents peace of mind.

Camp Traditions

Camp Bob Waldorf has a rich tradition of community-building events and celebrations. Campfires, song nights, and themed evenings bring campers together to reflect on their experiences and achievements. The camp’s values of respect, inclusion, and gratitude are reinforced through daily rituals and group discussions.
