As a haven for adventure, Camp Echo welcomes all to its vibrant community, nestled amongst 492 acres of Michigan's captivating woodlands and wetlands. This coed, residential YMCA camp situated near Fremont, is a delightful place where kids can unlock their potential, engage in a medley of sports, and make lifelong friends.
Basketball, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, volleyball - you name it, they've got it. There's something for every sports enthusiast at Camp Echo. Yet, it's not all about scoring goals and hitting aces. Here, children develop team spirit, resilience, and a sense of fair play, valuable life skills that go beyond the sports field.
Throughout the summer, a thousand campers of all ages converge on Long Ryerson Lake, each with different backgrounds, experiences, and stories to tell. Some are seasoned Echo veterans, while others are taking their first steps into this welcoming community. The beauty of Camp Echo is that it brings everyone together, fostering a sense of camaraderie and unity. And when the leaves turn golden, the fun doesn't stop. Autumn at Camp Echo offers its own array of activities for school and community groups.
