Embarking on an educational voyage right in the comforts of home, parents will find the Center for Language Studies (CLS) a beacon of learning for their little linguists. Here, the intricacies of languages unfold in an engaging atmosphere, making it an excellent choice for families planning a meaningful and stimulating summer. The camp places emphasis on diving deep into languages like Chinese, Japanese, and Russian. Families can truly appreciate that in the sunny season, their kids have the opportunity to cover a full academic year of foreign language learning. Consider it a swift linguistic journey compressed within the summertime frame - absolutely rewarding! CLS offers two power-packed 3-week sessions starting in mid-June. Committed to academic rigor, each session corresponds to 4 US credits or one Beloit Unit. The program is flexible and adaptive enough to fit every child's proficiency level, from novices to little virtuosos. The main highlight here is no doubt the intensive nature of the language courses. Imagine your kiddos not just listlessly thumbing through foreign alphabets, but enthusiastically articulating sentences, engaging in vibrant conversations, and gaining cultural insights - all within a span of few weeks. CLS truly stirs up the excitement, curiosity, and importantly, the love for learning languages among youngsters, preparing them for their future as global citizens. In a nutshell, the Center for Language Studies promises to turn summer breaks into an exciting academic sojourn, making language learning fun, rewarding, and anything but mundane for your youngsters.
