Commonwealth Skateboard Camp

Commonwealth Skateboard Camp

United States, Portland

Overview

Discover the energy-infused joy of skateboarding with Commonwealth Skateboard Camp, a haven crafted to invigorate the spirit of young skaters. Packed with thrilling excursions to top-tier skateparks in the Portland area, this catered journey allows campers to immerse themselves in the vibrant world of skateboarding, guided by doting coaches. Under the tutelage of their very own skater maestro, the magnificent Andrew Le, and his team of trusted coaches, children have a front-row seat to learning and perfecting their skateboarding skills. The camp ensures a dynamic set of experiences, visiting multiple parks each day courtesy of their vigilant 15-passenger van. Yes, there's more than just grinding the rails in the heart of Portland; ventures even extend to exciting locations such as Hood River Skatepark and Battle Ground Washington Skatepark.

Maintaining safety without compromising the fun, the wayfarers travel in the reliable Commonwealth Van, a 2012 Ford E-350 15-passenger van, regularly checked and cleaned to preserve its sterling condition. A bonus? When idle, it serves a double purpose by being rented out on the Turo app, the proceeds of which cleverly fund its upkeep. Commonwealth Skateboard Camp is more than an introduction to skateboarding; it's a joyful ride spiced with adventure, camaraderie, prompt lessons - all under the Portland sun. This is an experience where the journey becomes as exciting as the destination, with every ride etching unforgettable memories in young minds, fuelling their passion for skateboarding, one ramp at a time. Sign up for a summer filled with kickflips and half-pipes at this one-of-a-kind skateboard camp!
