Overview

Experience the thrill of catching the wind and charting your own course with COMMUNITY BOATING CENTER (CBC) - a haven for sailing enthusiasts that resides not just at the edge of the map, but on the brink of amazing adventures. CBC introduces families into the world of sailing by turning each breeze-filled day on the upper Narragansett Bay into a unwrapped gift of challenge and beauty. CBC isn't just about learning the ropes of sailing; it's about embracing a lifestyle of freedom and exploration. Kids and adults alike can embark on sailing lessons, finding out how each gust of wind is a dialogue they can dance to. A distinguishing feature of CBC is that the vessel is completely free to access for adults once they've reached the milestone of passing a sailing class or a check-out test. Every single wave is a new chapter, every current a direction to be explored under the careful guidance provided at CBC. The lapping of the crisp blue waters on the hull serves as a comforting rhythm to novices finding their sea-legs, while the more experienced can plunge headfirst into the thrills that upper Narragansett Bay unfurls. Furthermore, CBC remembers the explorers of tomorrow, offering "Sailorships" to eligible youth. So, let your children write their story on the sea and let the chorus of the winds sing their courage. In the safe and nurturing environment of CBC, little sailors will discover not just the joy of sailing, but its spirit as well. With CBC, you are more than just a passenger. You're the Captain navigating your own journey.
