Overview

Tumbleweed Day and Overnight Camps combine adventure, creativity, and community in a beautiful natural setting just minutes from Los Angeles. Day campers enjoy a full schedule of outdoor activities including swimming, horseback riding, ropes courses, crafts, hiking, and group games before returning home each evening. Overnight campers extend the fun with evening campfires, stargazing, team-building challenges, and cabin life that fosters independence and lifelong friendships.

Both options are guided by trained counselors who ensure safety, engagement, and emotional support for every child. The “unplugged” philosophy encourages campers to put away technology and embrace the joy of face-to-face connection and outdoor play. Each week features special theme days, traditions, and celebrations that make every session unique. Tumbleweed’s blend of adventure, friendship, and nature makes it one of Southern California’s most enriching camp experiences for kids and teens.
