Overview
4*S Galtenberg Resort is located at the end of the Alpbach valley, in the quiet and cosy village of Inneralpbach. For those who like to be active after skiing outside the hotel, we recommend considering accommodation in the larger and more noisy Alpbach, as there is hardly any evening entertainment here.
An indisputable advantage of the complex is its proximity to the lifts — just 50 metres is the rope tow lift Galtenberglift, and 400 metres is the Poglbahn, leading to the main ski area Ski Juwel.
The hotel is suitable for children of all ages. "Galtenberg is a member of the Kinderhotels hotel chain, offering a wide range of activities for children. Right in front of the building is the large teaching area for children of the ski school "Ski und Snowboardschule Alpbach/Inneralpbach" — Bobo's Kinderland. Here your children can have fun and enjoy learning how to ski. By the way, these lessons are included in the accommodation price. The hotel itself is pleasantly decorated and the rooms are quite spacious and tidy. For holidaymakers with two children we recommend considering rooms of category K5 and above. Smoking is not permitted in the restaurants, public areas or rooms.
The hotel is all-inclusive. Meals are of a high quality and include vegetarian options. A separate children's buffet is also offered for dinner, but it is more geared towards school-age children (usually a few pastas, fries, schnitzels and nuggets are served). The Galtenberg has a large games room and offers free daily childcare from 9am to 9pm. The hotel boasts a lovely spa area with indoor and outdoor heated pools, a toddler pool, saunas and steam rooms. Overall, the hotel can be a good option for holidays with children in the Ski Juwel region.
