Overview
The 4-star NH Wien City is quietly located next to Mariahilfer Strasse, one of the city's main shopping streets and just a few steps from the underground station. A great location for those who want to combine sightseeing and shopping. St. Stephen cathedral is a 25-minute walk or a 5-minute underground ride away. The Museum Quarter with its many museums, including those for children, is 700 metres away.
The NH Wien City is decorated in a modern style and offers spacious rooms (most of which are two-bedroom) equipped with a small kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave and kettle, which is certainly handy if you are staying with children. The rooms are clean and quiet. There are a couple of grocery shops close to the hotel, as well as inexpensive cafes where you can have a good and cheap breakfast.
On the downside, breakfast is quite expensive unless it is included in the room rate. The hotel is a bit "hidden" and not easy to find. First of all, be guided by the second address listed on the hotel website: Lindengasse,9. You will find the main entrance at this address.
Overall, the value for money is excellent, often offering very nice rates for family accommodation.

Wonderful hotel for summer vacations
It is an expensive hotel. Everything is clean. The room has its own small kitchenette so you can cook for the children yourself. Although we spent little time in the room, we still managed to appreciate the cosiness and comfort of good sleeping ...
