Overview
The three-star Legoland Feriendorf Parkhotel is set in the woods, just a five-minute walk from LEGOLAND Germany in Günzburg. If your child loves playing with Lego bricks, a trip to Bavarian LEGOLAND would make a great gift. And for those who never really cared for the coloured bricks, a visit to the park will give them a whole new perspective.
You can tell at a glance that you have entered Legoland. Almost everything here is made of brightly coloured bricks, or at least stylised to look like them. The cottages and castles that house the rooms look like toy houses. They're as comfortable as can be, with en-suite facilities, comfortable beds and baby items such as baths, high chairs and cots available on request.
The Park Hotel is surrounded by pine forest, and those who want to feel like real forest dwellers can opt for a barrel camping site rather than a fully-equipped room. Despite the rugged accommodation, children will have a great time.
Breakfast is included in almost all rooms. One dining room wouldn't be nearly enough for such a large gated community, so breakfast is served in several restaurants. Fresh fruit, egg dishes and other continental fare will satisfy even the most fussy child. All restaurants have special children's menus and dietary meals. Mothers with babies are not forgotten either: the HiPP Baby Service is available for them.
Like a real fairytale town, the fun starts in the room at LEGOLAND Feriendorf. Suitable toys, especially the large Lego bricks, add to the themed design of the rooms.
Outside, there are plenty of children's playgrounds, a mini-golf course, a beach pond, a ropes course and a bowling alley. The only downside to the hotel is that with all this variety, you might forget the main reason for your visit — LEGOLAND Günzburg.

The LEGOLAND Parkhotel Feriendorf is a cottage-type hotel located a 10-minute walk from the LEGOLAND Germany amusement park in Günzburg, Bavaria. It is 77 km to Algoy Airport in Memmingen, 104 km to Stuttgart Airport and 131 km to Franz Josef Strauss Airport in Munich.
You can get to Günzburg from Munich or Stuttgart by train, then from the railway station to the cottage complex runs a bus express. Those travelling by car need to take the A8. It takes 1 hour by car or taxi from Stuttgart and around 5 hours from Munich.
The hotel itself provides an airport transfer service from Memmingen, Stuttgart or Munich by prior arrangement.

The park hotel is located next to the children's amusement park Legoland and offers several accommodation options in themed holiday cottages. Since 2014, the traditional lego cottages and knight's castle have been joined by rooms in a barrel campsite and a royal castle. There are rooms for disabled guests:
Castle room (56 rooms), 30 sqm in size, themed in the new King's Castle in lego style. The room features a large double bed for the parents, a bunk bed for the children in a separate bedchamber, two TVs, wooden floors and a pile of LEGO constructors. There is a mini fridge and kettle. The bathroom is equipped with a shower. There is a maximum accommodation capacity of 4 people.
King's room (12 rooms) is 40 sqm in size and is themed in the King's Castle Lego style towers. The room has a large double bed for parents, a bunk bed for children in a separate bedroom, two TVs and wooden floors. There is a mini fridge and kettle. For entertainment in the evenings there is a Nintendo Wii U game console and a LEGO construction set. The bathroom has a shower. Maximum occupancy is 5 people.
Knight´s Castle Room (34 rooms) are 30 sqm in size and are located on two floors of the Knight´s Castle in Lego style. The room has a very large double bed for parents, a separate bedroom with two bunk beds for children, two TVs and wooden floors. There is a mini fridge and kettle. For evening family gatherings - Lego sets. The bathroom has a shower. Maximum occupancy for 6 people.
Family quadruple room, 24 sqm in a cottage with a terrace, themed "Knight", "Adventure", "Pirate" or "Racing". There is a double bed and a separate bedroom with a bunk bed for children, flat-screen TV, shower in the bathroom. Maximum occupancy is 4 guests.

Barrel house, measuring 2.17x4.30 metres, with a double bed in the sleeping area and a reclining table in the lounge area that converts into two single couches. Double bed measuring 2.10m x 2.20m, single beds measuring 2.10m x 0.7m. Bathroom with shower and toilet is located outside the cottage, a few meters away. Maximum occupancy is 4 people.
Knight Tent (12 tents), 20.25-36 square metres, in a tent city styled as a medieval camping tent. The tent has single beds, mattresses and sheets. There's a table with benches in front of the entrance. Guests should bring their own sleeping bag, pillows and lanterns. There is no Wi-Fi internet access in the camping area. Maximum occupancy in a 20.25 square metre (4.5m x 4.5m) tent is 3 people, in a 36 square metre (6m x 6m) tent — 6 people.

Parkhotel LEGOLAND Feriendorf offers its guests not only a choice of accommodation, but also a variety of meals, starting with breakfast. A breakfast buffet is included in the price of almost all rooms. Otherwise, you can order breakfast separately from the room price or enjoy an à la carte breakfast in one of the restaurants.
For guests staying in the Royal Castle, the breakfast buffet is served in The Round Table restaurant. Campers staying in cottages eat breakfast at the Jungle Buffet. Regardless of the restaurant, the buffet menu is a thorough continental breakfast with a huge selection of fresh fruit, pastries and desserts, but without an excess of hot dishes. In the evening, The Round Table switches to a la carte service, while Jungle Buffet also offers a themed buffet for dinner.
The Kings Tavern restaurant, a bar and an outdoor coffee pavilion are also open in the Royal Castle. The latter two are subject to weather conditions. The Steak House grill restaurant is also open in the evening with a wide range of steaks and grilled dishes.
Eating at LEGOLAND Feriendorf is not only enjoyable, but also comfortable. There are high chairs for babies and toddlers, a children's menu and special dietary requirements. If necessary, you can ask for a packed breakfast to go or order a brunch.
An even larger selection of cafés and restaurants is within the LEGOLAND Park. In addition to a variety of cuisines, there are children's menus as well as family menus. For mums coming with babies, baby food manufacturer HiPP offers a special HiPP Baby Service. For an additional charge, birthday children may order a birthday cake (order at least 48 hours in advance).
