The Happy Ski School lives up to its name — at the Kinderland Kids' World, where lessons are offered for young skiers, learning is fun and your children will have a great time. The school has two branches.
"HAPPY KINDERLAND is located in the centre of Oberau and at the top of the Schatzberg cable car in Auffach.
Auffach-Schatzberg:
- In the heart of the "SKIJUWEL".
- Meeting point at the top of the mountain for beginners and intermediates.
- Snow guaranteed (1,900 metres above sea level).
Oberau:
- Very quiet and ideal slopes for beginners only.
- Quiet and almost no queues at the lifts.
- Up to 3 days group lessons available
All instructors are very experienced and patient and know how to make lessons fun and safe.
The spacious children's area has 2 magic carpets, a ski carousel, pictures of fairytale characters and animals, and small training slopes. A colourful Happy Kids Express steam train takes young students to the training area and downhill runs. A full course lasts six days, four hours a day with a lunch break. Beginners can take a trial lesson.
At the end of the course, there is a final competition and medals are awarded to all participants in a festive atmosphere. And as a souvenir of the big event, children can keep their start number. A kindergarten is available at the school for children aged three and over who are not yet skiers. From 9.30 am to 3.30 pm they spend time in the playroom and outdoors with their peers and carers.
Snowboarding lessons are also available at the school. Snowboard School Highlights:

- 2 hours of tuition per day
- Lessons run from 10:00-12:00 or 13:00-15:00
