Movie Park is considered to be one of the most interesting amusement parks not only in Germany, but far beyond. Everyone can feel like a superhero, explore the mysteries of dungeons and lost tunnels, and meet Mickey Mouse and Roger Rabbit.
There is Hollywood-style entertainment and over 40 different attractions for adults and children alike.
Take a ride on the Lethal Weapon Pursuit rollercoaster, be an avatar in a flying machine and learn the fun tricks of the police academy.
Children will love a trip to the fairytale land of Looney Tunes or Ice Age with the characters from this great cartoon. A very popular boat ride with Dasha the Adventurer on the River of Adventure and the high speed ride with Tom & Jerry's Mouse in the House will not leave any member of your family indifferent.
Don't miss The Neverending Story, which takes you down the river through mist-shrouded canyons and abandoned caves to find yourself in the Enchanted Forest. The park's regular carousels, including the Santa Monica Wheel, are well worth a ride.
For the more adventurous, the Free Falling Tower is a must-see attraction. At the top of the Free Falling Tower there are chairs that are slightly tilted. This gives tourists the impression that they are literally flying towards the tarmac during the rapid descent.
Movie Park Germany is divided into themed areas, each with its own entertainment.
- The first is THE OLD WEST, where you'll see Las Vegas-style shows, ride rollercoasters and listen to country music singers.
- The second is GOTHAM CITY. This area takes you into Batman's apartment and the Betman & Robin stuntman show.
- The third area is called MARIENHOF. It is home to scary gremlins, the Museum of German Film History and the Rock n Roll Lunch Time Special.
- LOONEY TUNES LAND is the fourth zone, the happy land of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. This area will appeal to the younger guests of the park.
- The fifth zone is called THE HOLLYWOOD STREET SET, where you can explore the Bermuda Triangle and watch a parade of Hollywood movie characters.
As well as the various attractions, the park also has a Hollywood Film Museum. Here you'll find exhibits related to cinematography, as well as a variety of themed shows.
For example, you can catch SpongeBob, Tom and Jerry, Shrek, gangsters and cowboys up close and personal. A special treat is to visit Movie Park during the Halloween festivities, when the Horror Festival takes place.
The Movie Park is quite large, so it's a good idea to get there early enough to see and visit all the theme areas and attractions.
It's worth noting that a single visitor ticket entitles you to ride all the rides, so the earlier you get to the park, the more rides you can try.
There is a 'Hollywood Boulevard' with a variety of shops and cafes, although the food in the latter is quite expensive. If you plan to spend a lot of time in the park, you can take a small snack for the kids.
