Parents who come to rest with a child in the Costa Brava do not always look for a way to go on excursions. Sometimes they need a place where a child can play for two or three hours. If you are coming to Lloret de Mar with a child, the Sould Park will be such a place for you. Its attractions are mainly designed for children, but even adults will enjoy something.
There are half a dozen rides within the park, and almost all of them are suitable for kids under five years old. The Safari train through jaguar and hippo habitats and the Lejano Oeste horseback ride on the prairie are their favourite rides for toddlers of this age. Toddlers also enjoy catching rubber ducks in the Pesca Patos pond.
Young sailors might enjoy swimming in the pool on the Barcas Choc boats. Each boat is reminiscent of Noah's Ark — a toy pelican and a crocodile in one, a fish in another. And those who feel like a pirate should not miss the Barco Pirata seesaws. The classic Imaginarium merry-go-round is a must for anyone who feels like a pirate.
Older children will also find something to do at Sould Park. From age 6, you can participate in the Bull Rider rodeo. The Bull Rider is plastic, but it's a bouncy one. However, if it throws the rider off, he or she will fall onto the soft cushions.
From 10 years, you can shoot at the shooting range. Children can choose a shooting game in the arcade area until they reach this age. There are games of different genres for children from 3 years old. The amusement park in Lloret de Mar also invites children to explore the play maze and jump on the trampolines. To add to the list of pleasures, popcorn and sweets are sold within the park.
The kiddie rides are outdoors, so we recommend bringing sunscreen and hats if you spend the day at the park in the Costa Brava resort (Spain).
