Familienhotel Sonngastein

The family-run Sonngastein Hotel knows best when it comes to holidays with children. The hotel has the best facilities for little travellers. The biggest indoor play area is 1,600 square metres, where children can spend hours on end. There is a castle, trampolines, roller skating, mini-cart and car races, a sports area with a basketball or football pitch, table games, slides and much more. The hotel also boasts a mini cinema. If you're travelling with a baby, you'll be offered essential accessories such as potties, bathtubs, changing mats, bottle warmers, baby monitors and other essential baby care items.

In winter there is an ice rink opposite the hotel, and in summer you can have a great time in the outdoor playground. Sonngastein also has a mini club where your child will be supervised for 35 hours a week. There are several activities for children, teenagers and adults, both winter and summer. All programmes are rich and engaging, even if you don't speak German.

Food is another of the hotel's strong points. Guests comment on the quality of the meals. There is a separate menu for children under the age of 12 and in the summer the all-inclusive meal plan for all guests under 18 years old. Rooms and facilities have been designed with families travelling with children in mind. You can choose from studio, one-bedroom and two-storey family rooms in which everyone will feel at home.

The Familienhotel Sonngastein is a short distance from the other ski resorts and lifts, but with its free shuttle service, you can reach one of the ski areas of Bad Gastein in 8 minutes. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to the ski school for children.
