Overview
Adler Resort is a good option for staying in Hinterglemm with children, as it is only 100 metres from the ski lift and offers excellent ski-in/ski-out facilities.
There's also an illuminated toboggan run right next to the hotel, so be sure to take advantage of the chance to take the family for a joy ride one evening (sleds can be rented near the Reiterkogel lift).
The main building of the complex was built in 1979, but it was completely renovated in 2009 and apart from the standard suites you'll find modern rooms. The whole hotel is arranged very comfortably: without stepping outside you can get to any point — kids club, SPA-zone, restaurant, ski room.
Adler Resort offers an all-inclusive concept with plentiful and fresh buffet breakfasts, afternoon snacks with delicious pastries, and daily theme nights for dinner. Guests, planning to stay in rooms with a kitchenette, can cook on their own or order catering on request.
A buffet with refreshments is available for the younger guests. A kitchenette makes a great option for families travelling with small children who require special meals.
One of the disadvantages is its elevated position (on the village side, you have to walk uphill for a few minutes to get to the hotel).
All conditions have been created here for children to have a comfortable and, most importantly, diverse holiday. A Kids' Club with a teacher is open in winter and summertime, a Kids' Cinema is available in the evening, and the SPA-area has a separate Mickey Mouse pool (+35°C) for the little ones.
For children who plan to attend the ski school during their holiday in Hinterglemm, a free shuttle service from the Adler Resort to the Snowly Land teaching area (ski school "Snow and Fun") is available. Overall, the hotel is very pleasant and would be great for families.
