Hotel Hochfilzer

The family-run Aktiv Hotel Hochfilzer is located in the center of the Elmau resort and consists of three buildings: The 4-star hotel "Hochfilzer", the newly renovated guesthouse "Claudia 3*" located 5 minutes walk from the main building and "Haus Garden 3*" (located opposite the main building). Hotel owner Ingrid and her team do everything possible to make each guest's stay comfortable.

The hotel boasts a wonderful SPA-zone, consisting of a spacious indoor pool, indoor and outdoor heated Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. In the basement of the building there is a spacious storage room for ski equipment, which can be reached by going down the stairs or using the elevator.

All rooms are decorated in traditional Tyrolean style, clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. For families with small children, the apartment rooms equipped with a kitchenette are offered.

The food served in the restaurant is always of good quality. Breakfasts usually include fresh fruit, cereal, juices, several kinds of pastries, cheese and meat platter, bacon, and egg dishes to order. Four courses and a salad buffet are offered for dinner. There are theme nights throughout the week. When booking the hotel, you can order only breakfasts, or a half-board concept (breakfasts + dinners).

In winter there is a games room for children and on Sunday till Friday evenings there is a 2-hour animation program (for groups of children from 4 to 3 years old). A special pride of the hotel is the guide-instructor Didi. A true professional, who will organize a fascinating hike for your family in the mountains, advise the best places for skiing and just make you fall in love with the mountains and Elmau itself.
