Overview
Grand Hotel Zell-am-See has a location, which, on the one hand, ideal (the center, the windows of many rooms overlook the stunningly beautiful lake), on the other hand — not very good in the sense that close to the railroad. But as noted by many guests, the road is not too interfere with rest, especially if the room overlooks the lake.
The distance to the nearest ski lift is about 550 meters. From the hotel to it the guests are delivered by a free shuttle. Grand Hotel is decorated in a classic style and consists of two connected buildings. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, although some of them require renovation.
Grand Hotel pays a special attention to its guests with children: it offers free services of mini club for small guests from 3 to 10 years old, where a child can spend time with peers under the supervision, children's area in the pool, game consoles, at the reception desk you can borrow a DVD player with a collection of cartoons and movies. Bathtubs, bottles, pots, baby carriages, baby carriers, baby dishes, socket safety covers are also available upon request
The food at the hotel is of high quality, breakfast is a buffet, dinner is several different menus, including vegetarian dishes. There is a separate menu for children.
Classic and Grand Spa center (last visit is paid for residents in standard rooms) with a wide range of saunas, steam rooms, relaxation rooms deserves special praise. Wi-Fi is only available in the lobby bar, in-room wired Internet is available. In summer, you can sunbathe on a private beach near the lake (free for guests of the "Grand Hotel Zell-am-See"), ride bicycles (free), take hikes and go on excursions.
