The three-star Hotel Villa Florentina is located in the Westend-Süd district, close to the historic centre of Frankfurt am Main, in a building with more than 100 years of history. The small number of well-appointed rooms and the very helpful staff create a homelike atmosphere rather than a hotel.

There are plenty of restaurants around the hotel where you can eat during the day or in the evening. The best places to start exploring the area are those recommended by Villa Florentina staff.
Situated virtually in the city centre, Villa Florentina offers easy access not only to the main attractions, but also to more distant places. The Zoo, the Waterfront with the Communication Museum, the Historical Museum and other exhibition centres are only 2-3 stops away by metro. It takes a little longer to get to the Palmengarten and Güntersburgpark parks with their playgrounds and plenty of entertainment. End the day with a stroll through the historic streets of the city centre.
If you can't get enough of staying in one place, you can take a short trip into Frankfurt city centre by regional train from the station, which is a 10-minute walk away.

Directions
The Hotel Villa Florentina is located in the Westend-Sud district, a few blocks from the local opera house. It is 13 kilometres from Frankfurt Airport.
A direct S-Bahn (S8, S9) connects the airport with the main railway station, which is a 7-minute walk from Villa Florentina. It is also possible to get to the nearest station, Taunusanlage, which is no further away than the main station.
It is also convenient to book a taxi on arrival at the airport or hire a car to explore the city and surrounding area on your own.

Opened in 1991 to replace the family-run Hotel Hübner, the hotel underwent a major renovation in 2006. The low building dating from 1904 now houses 32 rooms of varying comfort, some with balconies. Smoking and non-smoking rooms are available:
Standard single room, 14 sqm, with a view of the city or the inner garden. The room has a single bed, a desk with an armchair and a shower in the bathroom. Maximum occupancy is 1 guest.
Single room superior, 18 sqm, with a view of the city or the inner garden. Single bed, desk with armchair, en suite shower. Maximum occupancy 1 guest.
Double room standard, 18 sqm, some with balcony. The room has a large double bed, a study area, a sitting area with armchairs and a tea table. Bath and shower in the bathroom. Maximum occupancy is 2 people.
Superior Double Room, 18m2, with a sofa as an extra bed. The room has a king-size bed or two single beds, a work area and a sitting area. Bathroom with bath and shower. Maximum occupancy is 3 persons.
Triple room of 18 square metres with a sitting area in the bay. The room has a king-size bed and a single bed, a study corner, seating furniture. There is a sofa and a tea table in the sitting area. The bathroom has a double washbasin, bath and shower. Maximum occupancy is 3 people.

Food and Drink
A breakfast buffet is available at the time of booking and is included in the room rate. Breakfast is served in the cosy reading room, so you can read while enjoying your morning coffee or tea.
The selection is typical of Germany: several types of pastries, several egg dishes, cereals, yoghurt, a selection of meats, fresh and dried fruit, cheese and smoked salmon for fish lovers. Milk is served separately and tea and coffee are available for drinks.
In warmer months, when the weather is fine, breakfast can be taken al fresco in the hotel's courtyard garden.
Villa Florentina, which doesn't have a full restaurant of its own, recommends a few nearby restaurants: Piu Allegro and Italiano Da Marietto's, Sushi am Main for lovers of sushi and Japanese cuisine, Surf'n Turf for excellent American steaks, and La Boveda, a Spanish restaurant. All of the above restaurants, as well as several good bars, are within a 5-10 minute walk.
The Opéra Francfort, a 15-minute walk away, is also a stimulating place for coffee shops, bistros and restaurants, and an opportunity to relax and discover the skills of local chefs. It's also a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest supermarket if you need to stock up on food for your room.
