Overview
A homely and small hotel located in Bad Hofgastein. It's without much pomp and pageantry, however, with a decent level of service. The staff are always very friendly, including the hosts themselves, who do their best to talk to their guests every evening and hear their impressions of their stay.
Klammer's Kaernten can safely be recommended for families. There are play areas for toddlers and teenagers, and a spa with an indoor and outdoor thermal pool is open from morning till night. You can walk to the resort's ski lift in just 6-7 minutes. Rooms at the hotel are decorated in both classic Tyrolean and modern styles. Both are clean and comfortable.
The cuisine, as well as the service in the restaurant, is always on a decent level. Half board is included in the accommodation rate (breakfasts plus dinners) and a number of additional pleasant bonuses, e.g. aromatic fresh pastries in the afternoon or gala dinner with Italian ice cream for dessert. If necessary, you can order a diet or vegetarian meal; the owners are always ready to meet the wishes of their guests. A baby cot can be provided for children under the age of two, and special rates are available for older children.
