Overview
One of the most "kid-friendly" hotels, a member of the European Kinderhotels chain. Ellmauhof is situated on a small slope, off the main road when entering Hinterglemm. It is about one kilometre to the centre of the village. It is a very quiet, family-friendly place and has great skiing and sledging facilities (a toboggan run in front of the hotel, gentle training slopes and a ski-in/ski-out area in case there is snow).
Within the walls of Ellmauhof there is a supremacy of the little visitors, because most of the services and infrastructure of the complex are aimed primarily at the needs of children. Comfort for the children is comfort for the parents. The hotel offers a huge play area of 10,000 square metres, where everyone will find something to amuse themselves.
There is a mini club for children aged three to six and six to ten, and a separate Gypsyland room with all sorts of play structures, a slide, a climbing wall and a Lego set. Younger guests can have a good time in the play rooms, which are equipped with board games, TVs and game consoles.
The large SPA zone has heated indoor swimming pools, including toddlers' pools that are only 15-40 centimetres deep, and a 52 metre long waterslide. There are two large playgrounds in the yard, a mini zoo and the Ellmauhof farm for children.
The hotel provides everything you need for babies: cots, bathtubs, potties, toilets, baby monitors, high chairs and strollers. There is always milk and boiled water available for babies at the hotel bar, as well as babysitting services from 9am to 8pm daily. The children's menu in the hotel restaurant includes organic Hipp baby food, porridge, fruit and biscuits. Older children can enjoy lunch and dinner accompanied by a mini club.
A shuttle service runs from the hotel to the village. Ellmauhof has a partnership with the Fun and Snow ski school - young skiers are taken to the children's learning area in the morning on a colourful steam train and taken back home after class.
