Overview
The 4-star Hotel Schattauer is simply perfect for holidays with children in the Wagrain ski resort. The ideal location on the main street allows you to reach the Billa supermarket (200 m), the ski bus stop (opposite the building) or the ski equipment rental shop in a few minutes. The Grafenberg ski lift can be reached by bus in 2-5 minutes at the most, but if you prefer, you can always take a pleasant walk to the slopes.
The hotel is run by a family who are passionate about each and every one of their guests. The rooms are all clean and spacious and many of the rooms are equipped to accommodate families with children.
Families travelling with babies should consider the modern self-catering apartments. They are located in a separate building a 2-3 minute walk away from the main building.
For younger guests, Schattauer offers a playroom with slides, board games and Lego construction. Unfortunately, the spa does not have an indoor pool, but during the warmer months there is an outdoor pool, in which children especially like to splash.
Food is one of the hotel's strong points. Breakfast is always plentiful and fresh, for dinner you can choose from a four-course menu and a salad buffet. There is always something for the kids to choose from from the children's and adult menus.
The wonderfully friendly atmosphere and ideal location in Wagrain makes the hotel a safe recommendation for families with children.
