The three-star Steiner Landhaus is located in the centre of Altenmarkt, just 100 metres from the main village square and within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Very friendly staff including the owners, who are always on hand to help visitors with any questions, spacious family rooms, delicious breakfasts with homemade products and very reasonable rates are the main arguments for choosing this hotel.
Landhaus Steiner has its own small spa area with sauna and indoor swimming pool. In addition, the owners will give you a flyer for a discount at the Therme Amade relaxation centre.
Freshly baked cakes and aromatic tea by the fireplace in the afternoon (served twice a week in winter) are a nice bonus. Kids are always welcome here. Maybe it's because the owners are a young couple who also have kids.
The hotel has a small outdoor playground, which is more suitable for the warmer months. A games console, toys, a collection of DVD films and books are also available for the young guests.

Every morning, Landhaus Steiner serves a buffet breakfast made from organic products in the breakfast room. In winter, coffee/tea and cakes are served by the fireplace in the lounge area twice a week (Mondays and Tuesdays from 15:30 to 17:30).
