The unusual hotel, reminding a fairy tale, palace Lacknerhof is located in the central part of the village of Flachau, close to the main ski area and the Achter Jet and Achter Jet 2 lifts. Cosy family rooms, great food and a wide range of facilities for younger guests make this hotel popular with holidaymakers with children.
Babies and toddlers can be delivered free with a baby monitor, bathrobes, bottle warmer and a changing mat. But you'll have to pay extra for a baby cot. Lacknerhof has a separate playroom for toddlers and a room with board games and video games for teenagers.
One pride of Lacknerhof is the large spa area of 2,000 square metres, with a favourite treatment and relaxation room for everyone. After an active winter day, the whole family can have a good time in the indoor pool or, on certain days, enjoy a sauna. For younger guests, a beautician offers a special spa package and a massage service.
Meals at the hotel are fully in keeping with its category: hearty breakfasts with a good selection of organic dishes, après-ski snacks, pastries, tea, coffee and soft drinks, and a rich five-course dinner. A children's menu (fries, spaghetti, pizza, ice cream) is offered during the holidays, as well as free soft drinks throughout the day.
The outdoors is just as interesting and entertaining. The Lacknerhof boasts a large 250 square metre playground area and its own Lucky Flitzer toboggan run, which is open both in winter and summer (two slopes are already included in the accommodation price). There is a children's ski school just 100 metres from the complex.
