Overview
Although this four-star hotel is situated on the outskirts of the spa village of Radstadt and not in the centre of town, it can safely be recommended to anyone planning a holiday with children in Salzburger Sportvelt, Austria. The Taxerhof owners have put everything in place to ensure that little ones have a comfortable place to stay.
The hotel is family-friendly and offers many free services and activities for children. There is a separate playroom for toddlers and teenagers, indoor and outdoor pools and a special children's entertainment programme during the school holidays.
There is a large playground with a sandpit in the courtyard, and in the warmer months, your child will be given a bicycle or pedal cars, taken to the farm and engaged in creative workshops.
A cot, a bathtub, a baby monitor, a kettle or a bottle warmer are available on request. For parents who plan to prepare their own meals for their child, the kitchenette, which is available in some of the room categories, will be indispensable.

Food and Drink
The Taxer Hof offers half board with a hearty breakfast, buffet and dinner (appetizer, soup, main course (3 choices), dessert, salad bar). All guests are welcomed with a welcome drink on the day of arrival.
Breakfast includes several kinds of freshly baked goods, cold cuts of meat and cheese, egg dishes, home-made jams, yoghurts, fruit and vegetables, fresh juices.
A candlelit dinner and a theme dinner with traditional Austrian cuisine are served weekly in winter. In summer, guests can enjoy a barbecue evening.
All fruit and vegetables as well as dairy products are grown and produced on the hotel's own farm.
