The three-star Hotel Maya Alicante is located in the centre of Alicante, at the foot of the Santa Barbara Fortress. Opposite the building is a tram stop and a bus stop to the airport (bus C6), and a little further away is the metro station. There is a direct road to the public beach of Alicante. It will take approximately 7-10 minutes to walk to the beach. Umbrellas and sunbeds can be rented for an extra fee. Entry into the water is gentle, which is very good for kids; the sand is cleaned daily.
