Winter Parks in Austria

At the middle station of the Sonnenbahn cable car, children and their parents are greeted by Berta the cow, the owner of Berta's Kinderland, a large winter amusement park.  Children have a great opportunity to learn about winter sports in a playful way and to visit the ski school.

At the Murmli Hut, located right in the skating area, children are greeted by many life-size wooden figures. There are goats, cows, eagles and sheep to climb on and play with.

Alpeniglu offers guided tours in several languages every half hour, during which the guide explains the ice-making process, the sculptures displayed in the huts and the craftsmen who created these masterpieces. The themes of the compositions change every year.

If your children are crazy about the comic characters Asterix and Obelix, they'll have a great time here. The village is made up of several Gallic wooden huts inhabited by fairytale characters.
